The northern section of the wagon house (built in 1863) has been converted into stylish accommodation where peace and tranquility of the Karoo, magnificent views of the mountains and myriads of stars at night can be experienced.
The self contained unit has its own bathroom en-suite with shower and a bath. A small kitchennete and dining table make this the perfect self-catering getaway.
The room sleeps 2 adults and can accommodate 2 children (under 12) on bunk beds.
A small stoep with tables and chairs looks out over the lambing enclosure. Guests are welcome to braai/bbq.
The guest unit does have fans for summer and a heater for winter - we do recommend you bring warm clothes as it does get very cold here on Blaauwater in winter. The room has DSTV and wifi is available closer to the main house.
Please note that the unit is non-smoking and no pets allowed.
